Everyone enjoys playing games... well, most everyone. Regardless, everyone is familiar with the group game "Never Have I Ever". In this video, Nathan has a little fun with a HubSpot CMS version of the game:
Never have I ever migrated a client website from WordPress onto HubSpot CMS (Content Hub) and had them regret the decision.
Never have I ever moved a client website from ANY platform onto HubSpot and they regretted the decision.
Never have I ever moved a client to HubSpot CMS and heard them say:
"This sucks! Where are all my plugins to update?"
"I miss updating PHP."
"I loved my stack of third-party plugin subscriptions and now I don't have them... and I'm really upset about it."
"All of my stuff is now in one place. My website, my email, my CRM, my marketing stuff, everything is all in one place and it's annoying."
"I sure miss having to call up a developer every time I want to change anything."
"I miss working in a platform that still looks like it's 2003."
"I miss having a bunch of different things to update all the time, and then watching them all fight against each other after I update one. I miss that. That was the best!"
"I miss having to go to bed every night in fear, wondering if I'm going to get hacked again while I sleep. I just miss those days..."
"I hate all this flexibility on my website. I go in and I can edit any page that I want, and I don't even see code everywhere. There's no PHP, there's there's just there's nothing. I just enter the stuff that I want and select images and you know, link things and I just update. There's no code. Is this even real? How am I supposed to take it seriously? Where's the code?"
"You know, I'm really upset that I was able to get in and update my website by myself before you even did any training with me."
Of course, we're having a little fun with the topic, but there is a lot of truth included! Much of this is based on responses I've actually received from clients over recent years. It's always a great moment when the client realizes how much better their day-to-day life is now going to be in their new website environment!
I love those moments. It's one of my favorite things.
If your website isn't built on HubSpot, it's time to fix that.
